Rec2Connect

Rec2Connect was founded in 2009 to expand access to inclusive, community-based recreation for individuals with disabilities. What began with two participants and a bag of adapted equipment has grown into a wide range of therapeutic programs - swimming, fitness, adaptive sports, outdoor recreation, social groups, and more - delivered across Northeast Ohio.

With a dedicated team of 20+ professionals, we partner with community organizations to remove barriers and make recreation accessible for all. We believe everyone deserves the chance to play, connect, and thrive, and we work every day to create opportunities that build confidence, independence, and belonging.
